Freddie Roulette is one of the very few Blues musicians who has made the lap-steel guitar their instrument of choice. From his early classic albums with Earl Hooker and his work with some legendary Chicago characters, through an enduring friendship with Charlie Musselwhite to a long career on the West-coast, Freddie always brings a heart full of Blues to his virtuoso playing. I met Musselwhite in, Chicago and Musselwhite sent for me when freddie was in Massachussetts and our first gig wikipedia in Hartford, Connecticut with B. Roulette, laughs so I remember that was the first gig I played with Musselwhite Discography, we sat back and drank about a half pint of gin and that was the first and last time I ever had a personal contact with him.
